Welcome to my active lifestyle brand!
My name is Charlotte Stevens, the owner/proprietor of OzDzynes. I am Australian, originally from Perth, Western Australia, currently living in south Wales. I am a keen snowboarder, surfer, kite surfer and wake boarder.
I worked as a snowboard instructor for a number of years in Australia, Canada and the USA. It was during the down time in the snow seasons that I started crocheting beanies for myself, families and friends. This gave me the opportunity to experiment with a few stitches and designs. The beanies I sell today bear little resemblance to the beanies I used to make.
I eventually started selling my beanies to supplement my day job salary and fund my frequent snow holidays. As the number of orders grew, I decided to take the plunge and start my own little business/shop by designing custom-made beanies for my customers. I also started sponsoring a few athletes and individuals with active lifestyles in order to promote my brand and booked stalls at local Christmas markets and spring fairs. In the summer months, you are more likely to find my pop-up shop at the Hillend Campsite, in Llangennith, one of my favourite places.
